Sketch Itinerary
Har Ki Dun Valley: Popularly called the ‘Valley of Gods‘, it is the easiest way to transport yourself from the material world of cities,to the surreal world of the Gods. Perhaps this is why even thePandavas chose this as their route to ‘Swargrohini’. Also called The Land of Lord Shiva, it borders between Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh.
Gradual descends and easy ascends makes Har Ki Dun ideal for beginners. The air is filled with the music of the streams and waterfalls along which the trek proceeds.
What makes this Trek so memorable:
(A) Being a Valley trek, it can be done during any time of the year.
(B) Being a very old and popular trek, the trail is clearly marked. Hence
there is almost no chance of getting lost.
(C) With villages at regular intervals, one can always halt the night in
villages if one does not have trekking gear.
(D) Peaks like Swargarohini- I, II, III, Bandarpoonch and Black Peak along
with the Ruinsara Peaks, are visible clearly.
(E) Shrouded with mystery and legends, every village has a unique story to
tell about the glorious past of this region.
